We appreciate how communicative Clinique de l’Audition Decarie’s staff is. They answered all our questions with as many details as possible. Even the people that we spoke to said that they’re really great at imparting information.
Another highlight is their great selection of hearing aids. They offer three types of hearing aids, each designed for a specific hearing loss severity. They can help with low, medium, and high levels of hearing loss.
What’s even better is that they provide a systematic hearing test for new patients. They do this so that they can recommend a personalised solution to their hearing problems.
However, what we love most is their home services. They visit residential homes and elderly institutions to provide hearing care to the people. This is helpful if you have mobility issues.
That said, the waiting time for an appointment is relatively longer because they’re a small clinic.

Paired with extensive earplugs options is their earplugs optimisation services. One of the people we spoke to is very happy with his custom-made moulded earplugs, which fit exactly with the shape of his ear.
Aside from earplug-related services, they also offer hearing tests for children and adults. We love that they assess a child’s hearing problem through various games, making it engaging for them.
Moreover, their Saturday availability is definitely an advantage over other clinics. This means you can bring your child or yourself on the day when there’s no school or work.
However, aside from earplugs, they don’t provide other products. We recommend looking for another entry on this list if you need hearing aids.

We were very impressed by the number of hearing aids Clinique AudioVie has. They offer five types of hearing aids, the highest number on this list. They have behind-the-ear, in-the-canal, and in-the-ear hearing aids.
Another highlight is their incorporation of advanced technologies in their hearing aids. They have this one with an AI-based sound processing, which offers enhanced noise management. What’s great is that it automatically adapts to the environment.
Additionally, the wide range of hearing aid accessories they offer is a green flag. Some products they provide are batteries, chargers, and television systems. They can be the one-stop clinic for your hearing aid accessories needs.
Most people that we talked to also commended their staff for being highly patient. They said that they don’t get irritated even if you have many follow-up questions.
The only minor drawback in their operation is that they’re not available on weekends.

Les Centres Masliah Audioprothésistes’s over three decades of excellence is what sets them apart from most clinics. Some people we spoke to are long-time clients who put their whole trust in this clinic’s specialists. It’s a strong testament to their service.
Their audiologists are simply impressive. They explained to us how they help people, from hearing tests to fitting of hearing aids. The people that we talked to said that their comprehensive knowledge is very reassuring, and we agree with them.
Speaking of hearing aids, we love that they have at least four types. What we love most is the extended-wear hearing aid, which can be worn for several months with no removal.
However, what drove us to include them on this list is their ability to give expert advice for redesigning a patient’s living environment. They suggest light signals, infrared systems, and amplified phones to help patients have control over their lives.
Nevertheless, no clinic is perfect. Some people we talked to felt that their appointment was rushed. They weren’t able to ask all the questions they had.

We love their free occupational hearing screening. With this, you’ll know if your work is causing too much damage to your hearing without spending money.
For those who always hear a ringing sound in their ears, the tinnitus treatment is a good fit. They provide therapies or recommend medications, depending on the type of tinnitus a patient has.
What’s even better is that they offer videonystagmography. This test is used to determine if a person has vestibular balance disorder, which is caused by inner ear problems. This test is for you if you often feel disoriented.
For simpler services, they offer a wide range of ear cleaning services. Some cleaning methods their audiologists use are microsuction, ear syringing, and ear irrigation.
Although they provide custom-made hearing protectors, they don’t sell hearing aids.

“Very welcoming and professional staff. You feel that there is a genuine attempt to find the best solution for your specific case, not just to sell something regardless of your needs. The service and availability is out-standing and very tailored to your needs. There is now a second site with the same professionals, in front of metro station on l’Acadie, which makes it easier to get to if you don’t want to take your car. In my case, the hearing aids totally changed my life, as I was suffering from invasive tinnitus, and I am now 90% better, so the investment in the assessment and hearing aids was certainly worth every penny. Strongly recommend !”
