That’s when we realised: the right boutique makes all the difference. Luckily, Montreal has some amazing spots that take the stress out of the search and actually make the experience fun.
So if you’re about to start the hunt for bridesmaid dresses, this list is for you. We’ve rounded up the city’s best shops based on real experiences, thoughtful service, and dresses your bridal party will actually want to wear again.

Boudoir 1861 has so many dresses. We think they have nearly 400 styles, so whatever you’re looking for, they might just have it.
We also appreciated that they offer a wide range of sizes. If your bridal party includes different body types, this place actually gives everyone a fair shot at finding something that fits and feels good.
They also have a website where you can browse some of their selection. It’s nice that some of their dresses have pictures of models wearing them. It’s really helpful if you want to visualise how it fits, even when you’re shopping online.
Price-wise, it’s honestly reasonable. Most dresses are under $100, and we even spotted some on sale.
They also sell accessories here, like hairpieces and jewellery, which is handy if you want to get everything in one go.
That said, some customers mentioned that their in-store service could be better. One person said the staff didn’t help her during her fitting.

DREAM IT Yourself has one big standout when it comes to bridesmaid dresses–their Infinity dress. It’s a dress that can be styled in a ton of different ways. It’s super flexible, which is great if you’ve got a bridal party with different body types or personal styles.
Even better, this dress comes in up to 60 colours. That’s a lot more than what we usually see elsewhere, which is very impressive.
We also appreciated how each dress includes a matching bandeau. It adds some coverage and comfort. It’s especially helpful if you’re planning on dancing all night.
One of our researchers visited their boutique, and it’s very Pinterest-worthy. They even offer the option to privatise the showroom for an hour and a half. That means you and your crew can try on dresses without feeling rushed or crowded.
Their staff is also kind and patient. We love how they really help you find the right look. Laeticia, in particular, is amazing at reading your style and suggesting dresses that fit well and feel right.
That said, we just have to note that getting to the store isn’t super easy. It’s up five flights of stairs, and there’s no elevator. So if anyone in your group has mobility issues or if you’re bringing along older family members, it could be a problem.

The atmosphere of Chateau de la mariée Nadia is very elegant. It has this Parisian charm that makes the visit feel special. The racks aren’t crammed together, and everything is spaced out and thoughtfully arranged.
In terms of selection, they do a great job catering to a variety of body types, which we appreciated. There are curated options for plus-sized bridesmaids that are modern, flattering, and stylish.
That said, the overall number of bridesmaid styles wasn’t huge. The dresses they carry are beautiful, especially for those going for a classic, elegant look. But if you’re after something ultra-trendy, the options may feel a bit limited.
One of our researchers noted that she was specifically looking for dresses with cap sleeves or full sleeves, and there weren’t many choices in that category.
We loved their customer service here. Their staff are patient, honest, and genuinely enthusiastic, which can make your shopping experience less stressful.
We also found their range of service to be another strength. They offer customisation, alterations, and a wide range of bridal accessories.
That said, we’ve heard from some clients that their alteration service isn’t the best. Some had to return multiple times for basic fixes.

They have options from simple, clean looks to more glam, detailed pieces. It’s not just one style or silhouette either.
There are options like A-line, mermaid, and more. It’s a big plus when you’re trying to please a whole group of bridesmaids with different body types and tastes.
Another highlight is their customisation and alterations. You’re not stuck with what’s on their rack. Their team can adjust fits and even create custom dresses if needed.
Their staff is also very accommodating. We heard from clients that they were encouraged to try on as many dresses as they needed until they found the one that made them feel the most comfortable and confident.
That said, we kind of noticed that the staff can be a bit pushy when it comes to making decisions quickly. If you’re not ready to commit or want to take some time to think, be prepared to hold your ground.

Atelier NüStyle’s space feels different from your typical dres shop. It’s modern and chic, with high ceilings, great lighting, and even a little wine and coffee bar. There’s also a big private fitting room that’s perfect if you’re coming with your bridal party.
In terms of bridesmaid dresses, the selection isn’t huge, but it’s definitely high quality. We saw some lovely pieces in soft, flowy fabrics like chiffon and satin. There are also styles that are flattering on different body types.
We also found it a plus that their bridesmaid dresses go really well with the bridal gowns they carry. Everything ties together nicely. They’re a great choice if you want to shop for everything in one place.
One thing we also liked was how personal their service is. Before your appointment, the team asks about your style so they can pull dresses in advance.
A few of the brides and bridesmaids we chatted with said they felt totally taken care of and never rushed.
That said, be really clear about your budget from the beginning. We heard from someone who had entered her budget when booking, but ended up trying on a dress that was way over. She didn’t find that out until after she’d fallen in love with it.
