One of UnionMD’s advantages over other clinics is that they’re open every day. This means you have a reliable clinic that you can run to in the city from early morning to early evening.
We love their clinic’s warm atmosphere. Every staff member, from receptionists to nurses, is very welcoming and always smiling. This kind of environment is what we most want for our loved ones.
What’s even better is that they have an extensive range of services. They provide medical, surgical, and cosmetic services. They can do blood testing, bursectomy, and hair transplant, and a lot more.
We also love that patients can opt for a home visit from one of the clinic’s physicians. This is especially helpful for those with mobility issues or those who simply can’t travel to the clinic.
The only drawback is their email communication. It sometimes take time before they reply to queries.

“I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this location on Jean Talon, it was in immaculate condition, beautiful natural lighting and friendly customer service. I got there early and was seen in moments of being there and was out in less than 5 min. The only downfall is that there is very limited/tight parking spots available but there is the parking lot of bureau en gros just across the street where you can probably park for 20 min if need be. The price was average for a private clinic and well worth the emergency walk in rather than wait to be seen through the RAMQ. I would DEFINITELY go back!!!”

We deeply appreciate Rose MD’s contact centre team for being extremely responsive. We obtained a lot of details about them through email before even visiting their clinic because they respond quickly to emails.
We highly recommend them if you need urgent assistance, as they accept same-day appointments. Whether you need telemedicine or an in-person consultation, they can set an appointment for you within 24 hours.
Among their wide range of services, their weight loss consultation stood out the most to us. They’ll guide you on your weight loss journey by giving advice, including medication options. They’re the only clinic on this list that has this service.
Beyond the services, the doctors also stood out. Many of the patients we spoke to said that their doctors are very knowledgeable and personable. One patient shared that her doctor thoroughly explained the orthopedic procedure she’ll undergo.
The only minor problem we can say about their operation is that they’re unavailable on weekends.

“Amazing doctors office. Doctor is very friendly and knowledgeable, takes time to listen and understand as well as educate you on your health. They specialise in orthopedic services. They have a foot clinic where they provide foot surgeries, including bunion correction, ankle arthroscopy, and Haglund’s resection surgery.
Another highlight is the financing options they provide to patients. They partnered with healthcare providers to offer flexible payment options. With this, you can pay for the cost of your treatment for months.
Many of the people we talked to also praised the doctors for being super patient. When your health is on the line, it’s only natural that you have a lot of questions. That’s why it’s very important for us that the doctors are willing to explain everything calmly.
That said, a few patients felt that the clinic didn’t always follow through on promises. One person told us that they failed to recommend a rehab clinic to him, as they had told him after his surgery.

Operating since 1994, VM Med has surely passed the test of time. Being able to deliver an excellent service to people for over three decades is no small feat.
They’re one of the largest private breast centres in Canada. They offer several services in that discipline alone, including breast biopsy, breast imaging, and breast cancer staging.
Aside from that, they have other services in other disciplines. They offer services related to thyroid, sexual wellness, and more.
Many of their patients informed us that they issue results relatively fast. One person stated that he had his medical results in less than an hour.
Still, there’s room to improve in communication. Several people shared frustration with the contact centre, saying they were left on hold for extended periods and received no apology once the call resumed.

“My decision to have surgery for my inguinal hernia in VM Med clinic was one of the best decisions I could have made. After a consultation with Dr Naim Otaky who patiently explained the whole procedure, the surgery was scheduled with minimal delay. I cannot speak too highly about the whole process I experienced at VM Med. It’s a modern clinic with very attentive and skilled staff. CloudMed’s clinic has a relaxing atmosphere that immediately stood out to us when we visited. We believe that being in a place like this can help you or your loved one quickly get back in good shape.
When it comes to availability, it’s definitely an advantage that they’re open every Saturday. This is considering that most private clinics in the city only operate on weekdays.
For their services, we appreciate that they offer assistance for all ages. They provide pediatric care and have family physicians who offer routine consultations and annual examinations.
We also appreciate their transparency about the costs of their services. The staff makes it clear what you’ll be paying before any procedure, which helps avoid surprises and builds trust.
That said, communication can be slow. Some of their current patients told us that it took a long time to get a response to their emails. The clinic’s also hard to reach via phone.
