In one Montreal condo they manage, there was a pretty intense disagreement between owners about splitting maintenance fees and using shared spaces. It has gotten bad enough to delay repairs and cause tension in the building.
Caitlin Doyle and her team stepped in, got everyone talking, and helped sort things out fairly. In the end, they kept things legal and avoided a bigger mess.
That kind of outcome speaks to Caitlin’s experience. She’s been leading the company since 1998, and it shows. Park Laign seems to really know the ins and outs of property management, especially in tricky condo situations.

They also seem to be thorough when it comes to finding tenants. They take time to screen people properly. Plus, we like that they give tenants different ways to reach them and even offer weekend emergency support.
That kind of setup keeps tenants happy, which usually means they stay longer and take better care of the property.
Now, we did notice that their system is very structured. They handle everything, from signing the lease to renewing it, raising the rent, and even adjusting things mid-lease.
It’s great if you want to be totally hands-off, but if you’re the type of owner who likes to be more involved or have more say in those decisions, you might feel a bit out of the loop.
It’d be nice if they offered more flexible options depending on how involved the owner wants to be.
On the admin side, they do the rental agreements and legal stuff. They follow the rules and keep things up to date with the market, which gives owners peace of mind.

Communication-wise, they’re very clear and upfront. No hidden fees, no vague answers, but just solid updates and quick replies. Many of the clients we spoke with highlighted how easy they are to reach and how they keep everyone informed.
We also liked that they don’t use the same approach to different properties.
For multifamily properties, they focus more on building good relationships with tenants. But for commercial spaces, they put more attention on making sure the space stays profitable and the tenants stick around long-term.
