We do have the solution, though. Self-storage!

Whether you’re downsizing, moving, or simply craving a more organised living space, self-storage can be a lifesaver.

But with so many options out there, it can be overwhelming to find the perfect fit. That’s where we come in! We’re here to uncover the top self-storage facilities in Montreal that offer the perfect blend of security, convenience, and affordability.

How much do self-storage units cost in Montreal?
Self-storage units in Montreal cost around $84 per month for small units, $173 for medium units, and $409 for large units. Keep in mind, though, that final prices may vary based on factors like location, availability, and additional feature

How We Chose

Security features – We chose facilities that go beyond basic locks and offer state-of-the-art security systems. We prioritised those that have 24/7 video surveillance, secure access codes, and on-site personnel.
Variety of unit sizes – We chose facilities offering a wide range of unit sizes to cater to different needs, from small lockers for seasonal items to large units for business inventory.
Accessibility & convenience – We considered storage units with extended hours, 24/7 access, and user-friendly features like online booking and payment options.
Pricing & flexibility – Transparent pricing, flexible rental terms, and discounts for long-term rentals or first-time users were key factors in our selection process.
Customer reviews – We paid close attention to customer feedback. We prioritised facilities with high ratings and positive reviews regarding security, cleanliness, and overall experience.

Provides convenient access hours and a welcoming atmosphere

“This is a review for the location on Shannon in Montreal. Reasonable prices, full time cleaning staff which makes this facility very clean including the garage. Good access hours but most importantly a very friendly, and accommodating front desk staff. Bilel and Bacha are hard working and extremely helpful making my recent rental effortless and easy. I should also mention that Karim (previous manager) was equally kind and very friendly and will be missed at this location. I am very pleased with the simplicity of my recent rental.”

“When I arrive at my locker, I see a key in my padlock. It was taken and my padlock was unusable. This is how to turn a negative situation into a positive experience! Thanks to Stéphane and the agent who helped me. Excellent service!”

Ensures a smooth experience, even on challenging days

“I usually don’t post google reviews, but I was compelled to do so because of the exceptional service that was extended to me at Montreal Mini Storage – Ville Marie. I was moving lockers, and having a rough day due to some personal factors and was unable to finish moving on time, before the facility closure. The facility manager – Mr. Alain was not only accommodating, he was kind, understanding, and extremely helpful. It is people like him that make this world a better place. He transcended the typical professional relationship and treated me with genuine human compassion. He also gives you technically strong advice on different unit options, and will go out of the way to ensure that you have a smooth experience, even helping people with things like safety tips on operating the industrial lift.”
