With nearly 100 years of experience, it’s hard to find locals who don’t know this company. Common business dealings operate within business hours, but they’re technically available 24/7 for emergencies.

When we estimated their arrival times, we were pleased to find out that their average is within 30 to 60 minutes. They even have a 30-minute courtesy call before arrival, which helps speed up the process once they’re on site.

However, their services come with a premium cost, with the above-than-average cost of emergency services. On top of that, they can also provide emergency services to existing customers only.

On the good side, we absolutely loved how comprehensive they are, from being able to deal with emergencies to offering a wide range of non-emergency plumbing solutions.

We also appreciate that they’re respectful to spaces, often leaving the area spotless once done without disrupting the home.

We liked that Pure Plomberie Inc. deals with a wide range of emergency services, from main leaks to faulty kitchen faucets. They’re available 24/7 so there’s plenty of availability, even for non-urgent needs.

With over 20 professionals across 2 locations, they’re able to deal with multiple jobs at a time. And with transparent pricing, we’re confident that clients get to enjoy competitive and fair rates.

The average time of their arrival is usually within an hour or less, depending on location. But speaking with their clients, the consensus is that they’re punctual and professional. We’ve heard praises that highlight their thoroughness and friendly approach.

The only downside, though, is that they have an upfront diagnostic fee, which may or may not be the most beneficial for all clients. It’s not a no-fix, no-pay structure, so do prepare accordingly.

At least, they’re really proactive with repairs. In fact, they’re one of the only few options that actually inspect jobs to prevent future issues.

What we liked most about this company is their responsiveness, especially for new clients. Unlike other services that require an account before dispatching help, Decarie can take on emergency calls without prior registration.

Their level of skills is also top-notch regardless of the weather. In fact, we found that they could also deal with winter emergencies, arriving within an hour only.

Clients also agree that they’re very professional and thorough, with a few instances of them running multiple tests before repairs. We really love this as it helps clients avoid unnecessary repairs.

They also have weekend availability for non-emergency issues, making them great for fast dispatches.

The only concern we found was that a few clients were charged an additional fee when the problem wasn’t solved initially. This seems to be a unique case, so we recommend clients also push through with what’s possible based on the situation.

When it comes to speed, Montreal Plumbing meets everything we’re looking for. Their arrival for emergencies is fast, often showing up within an hour even at midnight.

The job they do is relatively fast too, completing the work within a few hours depending on the scale. This is possible because their technicians come fully equipped, with spare materials often available at hand.

As for pricing, we love that their rates are fair and competitive. Their fees often land within the median rate in the city. The billing is well-explained too, and we appreciate the lack of surcharges and surprise fees. 

However, we’re sad to note that they’re not super responsive when it comes to inquiries via contact form and email. Other clients have pointed it out too, and our team also noted the slow response.

In general, calling them via phone is the best way to get to them fast.

When it comes to reputation, this company wins our favour. They’re a member of the Régie du bâtiment du Québec, which is a type of certification that legitimises their technical skills.

They serve all locations across Montreal, which is convenient for all local clients. While they don’t have the fastest arrival time, they still average 90 minutes, which is just right for emergency response.

They also cover a wide range of emergency types, including repairs for leaks, clogs, and drain backups.

Our team also appreciated that their technicians are highly experienced and personable. We appreciate that they take the time to explain what they’re doing, and even offer multiple solutions based on the issue and the client’s budget. 

Unfortunately, there were a few clients who experienced no-shows for their appointments. This seems to be present only in non-emergency situations, so we still see them in a good light for urgent issues.
