The 5 best facial treatments in Montreal for glowing skin

A few summers ago, I was sprawled out on a spa bed in a dimly lit room in Barcelona. I was mentally envisioning glowing skin, rose petals, and a post-facial radiance worthy of a Zendaya pap walk.

Instead, I got what felt like a sandblaster masquerading as an “exfoliating treatment” and a suffocating sheet mask. By the time I left, my face resembled a tomato that had just finished a heated argument.

So when I got back to Montreal, I decided to find facial treatments that actually pamper, heal, and leave you looking fresh. I talked to others first to narrow down my list before trying them myself.

Here are the places that actually leave your skin fresh and radiant.

How much does it cost to get facial treatments done in Montreal?

Basic face treatments cost at least $50. This is just an estimate, and the actual price will depend on the facial treatment that you get and where you go.

How I chose the best facial treatments in Montreal

Gentle Tech: I sought out places that used LED light therapy, hydrafacial vortexes, or cryo globes, cooler than a fourth-wall stare.
Ambience: I leaned into places where the vibe was calming and where the chairs reclined so luxuriously I almost forgot I was in the city.
Products: I’m a sucker for products that smell good and feel good on your skin. I chose places that stuck with skincare that was natural and free of harsh chemicals.
Results: I focused on places that didn’t leave my skin feeling rough after a facial treatment. I preferred treatments that left my skin revitalised.

1. New Age Spa

During my 15-minute consultation at New Age Spa, the esthetician impressed me by skipping the hard sell. Instead of pushing the most expensive option, she actually mapped my skin’s quirks and recommended their Microneedling with Vitamin B3.

She explained the process clearly too, which I really appreciate. She explained how the tiny needles would boost collagen without turning me into a human pincushion.

The treatment itself had a slight tingling as the niacinamide set, and left my skin pink for a few hours. But by day three, my forehead lines had softened to the point where even my partner noticed.

When I talked to other customers, many swore by the spa’s Skin Repairing Facial Peel (glycolic acid + vitamin C) treatment. Many said it smoothed their post-acne skin.

If you have sensitive skin, the Soothing Jelly Treatment lives up to its name. Many regulars I talked to shared that the treatment is high in antioxidants and doesn’t trigger rosacea flare-ups.

But here’s the catch: these face treatments aren’t cheap. It’s a splurge at $125+. That said, the custom approach means you’re not paying for fluff.

Pros

  • No upselling
  • Personalized consultation
  • Clear communication
  • Collagen-boosting microneedling
  • Effective results
  • Wide variety of treatments

Cons

  • Expensive

Took the time to listen to my skin concerns

“I had a consultation and facial today with Devon, and it was such a great experience. She’s extremely knowledgeable and immediately makes you feel comfortable. I really appreciated how she took the time to listen to my skin concerns and share helpful recommendations. I feel completely at ease with her, and my skin is glowing! Thank you, Devon! 🙌

Felt very well taken care of

“Very professional staff and beautiful offices. I went in for a consultation and Francesca was incredibly informative and patient with me, answering my many questions in a detailed and informed manner. I felt very well taken care of and not rushed, which was great. I can see why they have so many great reviews, which is why I booked a consult in the first place. I will be back for my facial, and I plan to post another review after my facial.”

2. Dermalogica à Montréal

Dermalogica à Montréal treatments are engineered for efficient skincare, with their Nano Infusion being their top treatment.

During their Nano infusion treatment, the tech uses a handheld device with micro-pins thinner than a strand of hair to create invisible nano-channels. Those micro-pins push a cocktail of resurfacing acids and brightening serums deep into the skin.

Clients consistently note firmer, smoother skin and visible improvement in acne scars, fine lines, and discolouration thanks to the collagen boost.

Personally, I appreciated the lack of downtime. There was no redness or peeling. My foundation glided on smoothly the next morning, and I had glass skin for days.

For reactive skin, I’d recommend their Pro Calm Treatment. It has a cooling gel mask infused with oat extract. The estheticians use featherlight massage strokes—no aggressive rubbing—and layer on hydration without heavy creams.

Their Pro Clear treatment is also impressive. Several women said it calmed their hormonal breakouts. The double cleanse, followed by a salicylic acid gel, tingles the skin just enough to feel like it’s working.

My only complaint about this place is that the wait time for an appointment is often 20 minutes or longer.

Pros

  • Effective Nano Infusion treatment
  • Boost of collagen in skin
  • Zero downtime
  • No redness or peeling
  • Custom options for different skin types
  • Featherlight massage strokes

Cons

  • Long wait times

Wasn’t expecting to be blown away by a treatment

“Maria is magic ✨

I’ve had countless facials across the world, and I’ll be honest—I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by a treatment in the middle of a retail space. But Maria completely changed my mind. I melted into the bed and left feeling like I had new skin. Out of all my facials, this was hands-down one of the best. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, endlessly kind, and so generous with her time and expertise. After just two sessions, my cystic breakouts have nearly disappeared, my skin texture is visibly smoother, and I finally feel like I have a routine that works. She even sent me the most detailed, thoughtful post-facial email I’ve ever received.

Also—yes, there’s a private room you can request in advance, but even as someone who’s admittedly a bit of a princess when it comes to spa settings, I didn’t mind the open space one bit. Maria’s presence is that grounding. If you’re thinking about booking: do it. She’s the real deal. My skin has never been happier.”

Left my skin feeling fresh, calm, and rejuvenated

“I have acne-prone skin, and my nano-facial at Dermalogica was such a positive experience. The esthetician, Maria, asked about my skin concerns and gave me excellent skincare advice on which products would work best for me. She explained things clearly without overwhelming me, which I really appreciated. The spa itself was spotless and cozy, with soft lighting and nice background music that made me feel completely relaxed. The nano-facial left my skin feeling fresh, calm, and rejuvenated. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective treatment in a warm and professional environment”

3. Espace Skins

espace-skins

Address: 4648 St Laurent Blvd, Montreal

Contact Details: +15148437546

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday – 10 AM to 9 PM
  • Friday – 10 AM to 6 PM
  • Saturday – 9 AM to 5 PM

Espace Skins is for anyone tired of boring facial treatments. The hype here is their newest CO2 treatment, and after one session, I get the hype.

The process starts with a thorough cleanse and gentle exfoliation, followed by subtle extractions (no brutal squeezing—just enough to clear my stubborn pores).

Then comes the oxygen infusion. My skin felt a bit flushed and tingly, but after the esthetician applied the CO₂ mask, my skin tightened slightly as it dried.

While I liked the afterglow this treatment gave my face, I wouldn’t choose this for daily maintenance. It’s on the pricier side.

Regulars, however, swear by the spa’s Diamond Dermalinfusion. They combine diamond-tipped exfoliation with targeted serums adjusted to each client’s needs. It’s a gritty but not abrasive scrub.

If you’re dealing with sunspots, many recommend the Lumixil Solution. Meanwhile, the Clarifying Solution is great for keeping breakouts at bay without overdrying your skin.

Pros

  • Visible glow after CO₂ treatment
  • Gentle extractions
  • Customisable Diamond Dermalinfusion
  • Effective treatments for sunspots and acne

Cons

  • Expensive

Already looking forward to my next treatment.

”Had a facial today with Sabrina and it was fantastic! She was very meticulous and is incredibly knowledgeable in recommending not only the appropriate products for home use, but the perfect treatment for maximum results! Already looking forward to my next treatment. Do your skin a favour and book with her !!”

The treatment was relaxing

“Just had a facial and my skin feels absolutely amazing! So soft, clean, and refreshed. The treatment was relaxing and i had with The best Isabelle, she is very professional and gentle. I can already see a healthy glow on my face. Highly recommend!”

4. Elle & Jane

elle-jane

Address: 642 Courcelle St suite 108, Montreal

Contact Details: +15147721228

Website

Elle & Jane’s entire facial treatment menu is built around organic, plant-based products. Take their “Mr. Brightside” facial, which I booked after my complexion started looking like a patchy Instagram filter.

The esthetician started with a gentle exfoliation using an enzyme scrub that smelled like crushed herbs. Then, she slathered the brightening serum packed with liquorice root and vitamin C.

I liked that she left the cooling mask on for 20 minutes while massaging my hands with lavender oil.

Others who come here swear by their “L.A. Glow” facial. It starts with a mild enzyme exfoliation and ends with a custom electrolyte hydro jelly, which many describe as feeling like slipping into a cool pool.

I also like their Skin Boosters offerings. These are à la carte add-ons that let people customise their session.

For me, the Gua Sha Massage was worth every penny of the $25 upgrade. My jawline looked more defined, and the lymphatic drainage left me feeling refreshed.

The only con? Some people have reported mixed-up appointment times, so I recommend confirming before heading to the spa.

Pros

  • Organic plant-based products
  • Gentle exfoliation
  • Hand massage with lavender oil
  • Custom electrolyte hydro jelly masks
  • Ala carte add-ons like gua sha

Cons

  • Occasional appointment mix-ups

Recently went for the Fall Detox with Gracie. The facial included a great variety of treatments and felt amazing. Gracie was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Received great service and advice. My partner had asked me multiple times since if I have makeup on because my skin looks so good.”

5. Sculptor Montreal

Operating Hours:

  • Tuesday & Wednesday – 10 AM to 5 PM
  • Thursday – 10 AM to 6 PM
  • Friday & Saturday – 10 AM to 7 PM

Sculptor Montreal’s Sculptor Homme is redefining skincare for men. There are no overly strong scents, so it’s perfect for men with sensitive skin to try.

Men who’ve tried it mentioned feeling hydrated yet matte afterwards. There was no greasy residue or lingering heaviness.

The estheticians are also impressive. Their sculpting massage techniques focus on relieving jaw tension and any post-shave irritation, which many men appreciate.

For women, Sculptor Montreal’s signature Hydroluxe Oxygen × Sculptor treatment is a popular choice. It gives a noticeable lift to cheekbones and a heavy glow that lasts for several days.

The Glow Touch facial lives up to all the influencer hype. I like how they use a high-tech AGE-R Booster Pro device – a handheld wand that delivers radiofrequency and microcurrents to tighten skin.

Sure, most people don’t walk out looking 22 again, but it does soften those nasolabial folds and blur out skin imperfections.

Another thing I like is their facial treatment packages, which are bundled at a slightly lower price. However, don’t skip a treatment because there are no refunds.

Pros

  • Sculptor Homme for men
  • Massage techniques relieve tension
  • Hydroluxe Oxygen × Sculptor treatment
  • High-tech AGE-R Booster Pro
  • Packaged treatments available

Cons

  • No refunds on packaged treatments

Will not go anywhere else

“Hands down will not go anywhere else for my facial treatments. I LOVE Sculptor! Every time I go, I feel welcomed and like I’m in good hands. Anastasia is incredible – she really understands my skin condition (rosacea) and I fully trust her. My skin went from red and inflamed to much less red and glowing. My favourite is the WOW facial. Smoothies are also a nice treat :)”

Definitely coming back

“Today I visited Sculptor Montreal for the first time though I’m familiar with the franchise and brand itself from Ukraine. I had Clean and Run facial performed on my face and I completely loved the experience! Definitely coming back to try out other procedures and taking my friend with me as well 🤩 By the way there is a smoothie bar right in the space so I highly recommend trying one of them! Both coffee and AntiAge smoothie tasted great! Loved my visit!!!”
