Address: 8645, Langelier Blvd

Contact: 514-323-2954 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Friday-Saturday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Sunday, By Appointment

GIT Portes & Fenêtres caters to homes, condominiums, and commercial spaces with large openings. They deliver custom architectural aluminium and steel entry doors built specifically for severe seasonal climate shifts.

On top of that, they provide professional installation services. This ensures your new entrance is sealed tight against drafts.

Plus, you can connect with their team online for fast, streamlined quote requests to keep things moving smoothly.

But shoppers looking for traditional aesthetics will hit a wall here. They only build metal entryways, omitting wood or fibreglass options from their catalogue, making them a poor fit for historic neighbourhoods requiring authentic carved wood.

Friendly and competent front door installation

Rico’s team came to install our front door, and they were amazing. So friendly, competent and helpful – explained everything they were doing and gave me lots of options. They went above and beyond, and made us feel well taken care of!

2. Portes et Fenêtres Inter-Québec

Website: https://interquebec.ca/en

Address: 4465 Boul. des Grandes-Prairies, Saint-Léonard

Contact: 514-353-6677 | [email protected]

Inter-Québec brings over four decades of industry experience to residential renovations. They’re based in Quebec, giving them deep knowledge of local climate challenges.

They engineer their products specifically for local weather. Their doors feature impressive triple weatherstripping and heavy-duty ball bearings to prevent mechanical wear, ensuring protection against harsh drafts and heavy moisture.

They also carry Energy Star-certified fibreglass models that provide incredible thermal insulation. Plus, they offer over 20 standard colours alongside custom matching.

The downside is their strict focus on steel and fibreglass materials. You won’t find genuine solid wood doors here for classic architectural styles.

Another drawback is that their showroom requires scheduled appointments for Sunday visits.

Flawless front door replacement and true expertise

I recently had my front door replaced and couldn’t be more satisfied.  From helping me choose the right style and colour to completing a flawless installation, Inter Quebec demonstrated true expertise at every step.  I highly recommend Joey Palmitano and his team for their professionalism, knowledge and quality workmanship.

Professional service and quality windows installation

This is the second time I have used their service, and I am really satisfied with their products and installation. From the time I requested a quote until the job was complete, they were always easy to talk to and very professional. The last install consisted of replacing 10 Thermal pane windows, and front door. Order came ahead of time, and done the same day. Great team of people, from the sales (Franco), the installers Lougi, Bob, and Tony, to the receptionist Luisa. Thank you.  👍

Transformative new door with excellent service

I first went to Factory Direct a couple of years ago for my front door, and I still love it today. The new door completely changed the look of my home. Sasha, explained everything clearly and made sure I understood all the options available. He helped me a lot throughout the process. The team was very professional, worked quickly, and did a clean, excellent job with the installation. I’m very happy with the results and would highly recommend them

Exceptional service for windows and front door

We recently had new windows and front door installed in my home and I was very happy with the entire experience.

On top of that , Sasha helped us to understand the process to get the government loan and rebates and is very knowledgeable on the product , making the process easy to follow and meet the requirements I had

4. Euro Portes

Hours: Tuesday, Thursday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Saturday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Euro Portes delivers exceptional market value by using high-end German and Italian manufacturing technologies for their door products. They build durable units featuring solid pine cores wrapped in protective foil for long-term resistance.

They supply heavy-duty cold-rolled steel entrance doors equipped with solid locks, ensuring exceptional resistance to harsh weather and heavy impacts.

They also maintain a permanent local stock in Laval to help contractors avoid frustrating shipping delays.

Another perk is their local installation service to ensure everything is mounted perfectly, so you get thermal efficiency from day one.

However, their framing designs come with strict installation limits, as their standard frames only fit wall thicknesses between 9 cm and 13 cm. Any older homes with non-standard walls will require expensive custom alterations to fit these units.

Great contemporary front door and excellent service

I would like to thank you “Euro Portes” team – Cristina and Dumitru, for their excellent service and great products! 👍

From the first visit they consulted us and offered their professional advice and helped us take our decision. We discussed every single details and everything came as we wanted. We changed our front-door, patio-door and the side-door and we are very satisfied with our choice!

We love our dark-grey front door!❤️ It gives a more contemporary look to our house and makes it stand out! 👍

Unisson Groupe crafts its products in Canada to make sure doors can handle extreme weather.

They prioritise home security by offering heavy-duty 24-gauge galvanised steel entry doors. They also integrate multi-point locking hardware that secures the panel along its entire height.

Plus, every exterior door features advanced neoprene double seals to block drafts and muffle loud street noise. Homeowners can even customise their units with premium decorative glass inserts for added curb appeal.

Their quote response times are impressively fast, too. You can expect a response from project specialists within 24 hours.

The thing is, they outsource all their decorative glass panels to third-party services, restricting your design choices to external inventory.

Smooth and professional windows and door installation

We had an excellent experience with Unisson Groupe from start to finish. They replaced 12 windows and our front door, and the entire process was smooth, professional, and completed with great attention to detail. The quality of the products meets our expectations, and the installation team was punctual, efficient, and left everything clean when the job was done.

Andrey, the manager, was knowledgeable, responsive, and always available to answer our questions.

We are extremely happy with the final result and we would highly recommend Unisson Groupe to anyone looking for high-quality windows and doors.

Terrific Long-term service and product quality

Unison has installed our windows 12 years ago. We had couple of minor issues during all this time, everything was  fixed right away. Later we changed our side door and it is awesome. This year finally it was the turn for the front and patio doors to be replaced.  As usually we got professional,  timely and overall terrific service and product quality. Many thanks to the whole team!
