Clinique Ovo has a dedicated third-party support team, which guides patients through donor eggs, donor sperm, and surrogacy protocols. They act as an official partner with international egg banks, helping couples access additional reproductive options.

Their connection to The Fertility Partners network gives patients access to great research and strong pregnancy rates for donor transfers. Since it’s the largest in Canada, you get more accessible care.

When we spoke with a close friend who went through their donor program, she praised how supported she felt during every step. 

They offer specialised refund guarantee options, too, which adds to the peace of mind.

You should know, however, that you can only order donor eggs from specific approved banks due to strict lab protocols. That restriction might limit your choices slightly if you have a specific bank in mind.

To boot, patients can access directed donor-egg procedures and Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) for detailed embryo testing.

Another draw is their clear, published refund policies in case a cycle gets cancelled at any stage.

Led by Dr. Neal Mahutte and Dr. Sophia Ouhilal, the clinic offers dual-board-certified expertise and consistent doctor continuity at every appointment.

As for their process, we like that they use advanced screening tools, such as Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidies (PGT-A) and non-invasive embryo culture analysis. 

It’s just a bit inconvenient that you’ll need to go off-site to a hospital or the CLSC (Centre local de services communautaires) for required blood work, which adds extra travel steps to your intake process.

Personalized support through IVF treatment

Dr. Mahutte saw me through two egg retrievals and 3 embryo transfers so we could start our family. Despite the clinic being very busy Dr. Mahutte was very personable, he takes time to discuss options, answer all of your (in my case many, many) questions. I felt well taken care of and considered by all of the clinic staff but Dr. Mahutte is a real gem in the business. He was so kind and personable during a very difficult time. I look forward to going back to try our luck for a sibling with our remaining embryos.

Their team is impressive, having achieved the world’s first In Vitro Maturation (IVM) twin birth. 

But this clinic actually caught our attention because they welcome patients with complex fertility cases who were turned away elsewhere. Even better, initial consultations can be booked quickly in under two weeks, making the process more efficient.

What impressed us further was their use of cutting-edge tools like EmbryoScope time-lapse monitoring, which tracks the embryos to spot abnormal growth.

It’s also worth highlighting that they participate in Quebec’s RAMQ-funded program, which brings in government-funded options for more accessible fertility care.

The main catch is that the clinic is closed on weekends. So, it’s best to schedule around their weekday-only hours.
