I believe windows and doors make or break a home. And no, I’m not solely talking about the aesthetic part of the house, but also the comfort it provides to anyone living in it.

That’s why when I moved to my new house about a year ago, I made sure to change the (extremely) old fixtures it had. The patio door was this old glass slider that took way too much force to open, and the windows were so fogged with condensation.

One of Vitrerie’s key strengths is their responsiveness. They were quick to respond to my emails, allowing me to gather many details about them and book an appointment in no time.

I find the company a really good choice for those who want glass windows and doors. They offer customised glass windows and doors, allowing customers to get exactly the kind of fixture they want.

Beyond windows and doors, the team can pretty much make anything out of glass. They’ve done glass railings, shower partitions, and even tables.

What’s even better is that they provide emergency service. You can contact them outside their operating hours for glass window and door replacement for your house or storefront.

Most of the people I spoke to told me that the items they ordered were delivered fast. Some even said that their ordered windows and doors arrived a day ahead.

Still, no business is perfect. Some of the people I talked to said that they cancel appointments without a clear reason. This is very inconvenient for people with limited availability.

I was super amazed when I discovered that GIT has been providing high-quality aluminum doors and windows since 1968. With that number of years of experience, it’s not surprising that they’re great at what they do.

They offer and install six kinds of windows. That’s a lot to choose from. They have awning windows, casement windows, and sliding windows.

For doors, they sell and install two kinds. You can contact them if you want to replace either your patio door or your entrance door.

What stood out to me, though, were GIT’s aluminum doors and windows. What’s great about them is that they’re durable and very low-maintenance. Once they’re installed, you don’t have to worry about anything for many years.

Last but not least, their 10-year installation and product warranty provides peace of mind that most of us want when buying products or services.

That said, it took them a couple of hours to respond to some of the emails I sent. Of course, no one wants to talk to people who reply slowly.

I was very impressed when one of their team members informed me about the number of kinds of windows and doors they have. They offer nine classes of windows and doors, more than enough for your replacement needs. 

What’s great is that their windows and doors come in different kinds of materials. For example, they offer vinyl and wooden windows as well as fiberglass and steel doors.

What I love most is that they both offer a 25-year warranty for their workmanship and products. This feature provides a much-needed peace of mind.

However, some customers I talked to said the team sometimes takes almost a month to install doors and windows. This is bad if you need them installed immediately.

Elit Tech’s team is very communicative about their services. They really tried their best in answering my questions with as much detail as possible, which is a huge plus for me.

They sell and install five kinds of windows, which is not a bad number for a company that started nine years ago. Some types of windows they offer are fixed windows, sliding windows, and sash windows.

What’s even better is that they offer various finishing options for both windows and doors. For windows, you can choose from a range of colours. For doors, they can put a moulding design and even side lights.

Most importantly, many of their former clients whom I spoke to praise them for working fast. Some even told me that they can finish a big project in just hours.

The only drawback is that you can’t show up at their showroom without setting an appointment.

Most of the people I interviewed have nothing but praise for Innovation’s quality products and seamless installation. This is what mainly drove me to include this company on my top list.

I highly recommend them for those looking for great patio door installers. Many of their former clients told me that they work smoothly and quickly in placing this kind of door in houses.

It’s great that they operate throughout the West Island and nearby areas. West Island is a large suburban area in Montreal, meaning they have a relatively wide coverage area. Also, if you live near the area, there’s a chance that they operate in your place.

When it comes to products, they sell and install six kinds of windows, including bay windows, hung windows, and more. 

However, they’re not operating every Friday and on weekends. This is very inconvenient for people who only have free time on those days.
