5 Best Cake Delivery Services in Montreal for Sweet Celebrations
I’m a huge fan of our local chocolate shops, but sometimes a truffle just doesn’t feel festive enough. That’s when I start looking for the best cake delivery in Montreal to bring in the big guns.
A good delivery service saves me from white-knuckling a cake box through traffic and potholes. Better yet, the cake arrives looking like a celebration instead of a casualty!
Whether it’s a birthday, office surprise, or full-on milestone, Montreal has plenty of sweet options worth ordering. Here are the services I’d trust when the occasion calls for more than my usual chocolate fix.
How much does cake delivery cost in Montreal?
Cake delivery in Montreal typically costs $3.99 to $25. The final fee depends on the courier, delivery speed, and order size.
Third-party apps may start at around $3.99 for qualifying orders. Subscribers may get reduced or waived delivery fees.
Local bakery couriers often charge $20 to $25. This can be worthwhile for custom or tiered cakes that need careful handling.
Some specialty gift sites offer free delivery with conditions. You may need to spend $100 or more to qualify.
How We Reviewed
1. Sugar Rush Cakes

Area served: Montreal, Quebec
Contact: 514-418-8066 / [email protected]
Hours: Monday, noon – 6 PM | Tuesday – Wednesday, 9 AM – 6 PM | Thursday – Friday, 9 AM – 9 PM | Saturday, 9 AM – 6 PM
Sugar Rush Cakes feels made for those celebrations when a supermarket sheet cake simply won’t cut it. Their custom sculpted cakes can turn birthdays, weddings, and big milestones into something far more memorable.
I especially like that their commercial kitchen is peanut- and tree-nut-free, which makes planning around certain allergies less nerve-racking.
They can accommodate vegan and lactose-free requests for many products, giving mixed-diet guest lists a little more breathing room.
Wedding clients can even order tasting sample boxes for delivery, which is a handy way to narrow down flavours from home.
Since they’re delivery-focused, you won’t need to wrestle a delicate cake through Montreal traffic yourself.
The catch is that custom orders generally need at least two weeks’ notice, so this isn’t ideal for spontaneous celebrations.
There’s no walk-in storefront either, making it less convenient if you prefer browsing cakes in person.
A Delicious Baby Shower Cake Delivered on Time
I ordered a cake for my sister’sbaby shower. I ordered vanilla dolce de leche cakes and mini cakes. It was moist and delicious. The service was amazing, and delivery was on time. Claudia is so sweet and nailed my order. I will order again.

A Birthday Cake That Really Impressed
This is the first time I have ordered a cake from Sugar Rush Cakes. I have a husband who is hard to please, but when he saw his birthday cake, he was completely delighted! You will notice the cute element: instead of the Corona “beer can” saying “la cerveza mas fina,” it says “el esposo mas fino”! Then, underneath all that buttercream icing is a moist, rich chocolate cake with strawberry cream between the layers – delicious! PLUS, the cake was delivered to my front door right before the party, which I also appreciated. This is really top-notch service!

2. Pâtisserie Mahrouse Centre-Ville

Address: 1053 Rue de la Montagne
Contact: 514-279-1629 / [email protected]
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 11 AM to 9 PM, Friday to Saturday, 1 AM to 10 PM
Pâtisserie Mahrouse Centre-Ville is where I’d look when a regular frosted cake feels a little too predictable. Their baklava, Basmah, kunafeh, and other Middle Eastern sweets make celebrations feel much more interesting.
I like that products are prepared fresh on the day they’re shipped, which gives bigger orders some extra appeal. Their larger trays and 1.2-kilogram kunafeh pans are especially handy when you’re feeding a crowd.
Local delivery across Greater Montreal comes at a flat $20, so the fee is refreshingly easy to budget for. The downtown location is another plus if you’re already somewhere around Centre-Ville.
The catch is that some specialty items are limited to Greater Montreal delivery.
Certain kunafeh orders may need advance notice too, so this isn’t always a last-minute dessert rescue.
3. Les Célébrations

Address: 6571 Avenue Somerled
Contact: 514-652-6722 / [email protected]
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 7 PM | Saturday, 10 AM – 6 PM | Sunday, 10 AM – 5 PM
Les Célébrations is the kind of bakery I’d bookmark for parties where half the guest list seems to have a different dietary request. Their cakes are eggless and vegetarian, with Halal-certified ingredients and no gelatin or animal enzymes.
I like that the menu still feels celebratory rather than overly limited, with flavours like Biscoff, mango, rasmalai, and chocolate truffle.
Vegan and gluten-free versions are available too, which gives hosts more room to keep everyone included.
The $9.99 flat-rate local delivery is another nice touch, especially when you’re already juggling decorations and party logistics.
Same-day delivery can come in handy for those celebrations that somehow sneak up on you.
The catch is that custom cakes and larger orders are best placed about 48 hours ahead. Vegan and gluten-free upgrades cost around $10 extra as well.
They Nailed the Design on a Last-Minute Order
The cake was absolutely amazing! It was the same as the reference image we shared. Even though we placed the order at the last minute, they managed to deliver it within just 5 hours. The pricing was reasonable, and the service was excellent. We really loved the overall experience and would definitely order again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A Beautiful and Tasty Wedding Cake
Ordered a multi-layered wedding cake. The cake was beautifully assembled, tasted great and was delivered with care. As a vegetarian, there are not many options, but I was more than pleased with the cake. I would recommend this bakery.

4. Pâtisserie Noisette et Chocolat

Address: 87 Bd Churchill, Greenfield Park
Delivery Areas: Longueuil, Brossard, South Shore of Montreal, Montreal, Laval, and around
Contact: 450-550-3232 / [email protected]
Hours: Wednesday – Friday, 10 AM – 6 PM | Saturday, 10 AM – 4 PM | Sunday, 10 AM – 3 PM
Pâtisserie Noisette et Chocolat is the sort of place I’d call when a celebration needs more than a pretty cake in a box.
For weddings and corporate events, they can arrange consultations, delivery, and on-site cake assembly.
I like that they lean into custom presentation, including edible image printing for photos or branded designs. Their delivery coverage stretches across Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Brossard, and much of the South Shore.
Smaller celebrations get some fun options too, including trendy Bento Cakes that feel made for gifting. It’s a nice middle ground between a casual sweet treat and a full-blown centrepiece.
The catch is that their products may come into contact with nuts, which matters for severe allergies.
They’re closed Mondays and Tuesdays too, so early-week plans need a little more foresight.
Beautiful Cake, Great Service, Even on Short Notice
I had a last-minute order of a custom cake for my husband’s birthday, and they were so nice and accommodating. The cake was really beautiful, and it is so good ( we had the red velvet). All of my family enjoyed it, and they deliver to your home! The price is really reasonable too! Thank you so much!

A Smooth Experience from Choosing to Delivery
This is the second time we got a cake for a special event. The first was my daughter’s sweet 16, and the second was for my wife’s 50th birthday party. When we arrived at the shop, the staff was very welcoming and professional, and catered to all our questions. With the help of the staff, we were able to make our choice within 30 minutes. We asked for the cake to be delivered to the event location the day of the birthday event, and everything went very smoothly, and we were very happy with the design of the cake.

5. Jaimée Sweets & Cie

Address: 1051 Av. Bernard, Outremont
Contact: 438-380-6765 / [email protected]
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8 AM – 5 PM | Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM | Saturday, 9 AM – 6 PM | Sunday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Jaimée Sweets & Cie is where I’d look when I want a cake that feels more art-school chic than bakery-counter basic. Their retro, vintage, and floral designs have plenty of personality without looking overworked.
I like that they pair homemade fruit compotes with thoughtfully decorated cakes, which gives the menu more than just good looks.
Vegan and gluten-free options make things a little easier when the guest list comes with dietary requests.
Their $20 local delivery is handy when you’d rather not babysit buttercream through Montreal traffic. The recyclable and compostable packaging is a nice touch too.
The catch is that signature and specialty cakes generally need about 36 hours’ notice. That makes them better for planned celebrations than true last-minute dessert emergencies.
Easy Ordering and a Cake That Was Just Right
Ordered a cake via email (as I’m based in Toronto) for a birthday celebration I was doing in Montreal with friends. They made ordering SO easy. Pricing was amazing also. I was able to get it delivered to where I was staying. Cake looked and tasted wonderful. Was as exactly as I asked for. Highly recommend for anyone in the Montreal area in need of a cake.
