Toilettage Felinus stands out as a calm, cat-friendly grooming space, with an environment designed to help pets feel more relaxed during their visit.

Many cat parents appreciate how this place is fully cat-only, so there aren’t any barking dogs to stress them out. That alone makes a big difference if your pet gets nervous easily.

Another thing is the open-door setup, which lets owners stay nearby and comfort their cats during grooming. I also found their staff really understands feline behaviour, so handling feels gentle and careful.

On the downside, full baths aren’t always offered since they focus on low-stress care. Also, you’ll need to book ahead because walk-ins aren’t accepted, especially on busy weekends.

Trusted Grooming for Difficult Cat Coats

I have been going here for years with my cats who are Himalayan and have a really difficult coat that often needs to be shaved down and groomed properly. They’re always really friendly and sweet. I love going here wouldn’t go anywhere else. They always look like sweet little teddy bears when they leave and my cat is always so happy and gets the zoomies after getting his cut.

Gentle Cat Grooming Worth the Drive

Very caring cat lovers! Drove 45 minutes to get here and worth the drive. In less than 40 minutes my very matted and slightly aggessive cat was groomed into a beautiful lion. They were so gentle and did not restrain him and no medication. Please do not groom your cat under sedation at the vet come see these wonderful ladies. Best cat groomers ever. Lave TouTou is a grooming place that takes its time with anxious pets. I noticed that they never rush the dogs and always go at a pace that suits each animal. This really helps if your pet tends to get stressed.

They’re also very skilled at grooming, especially when it comes to breed-specific cuts and hand-stripping.

They offer training programs, too, which means dog trainers in Montreal trust them. Cats also have their own days without dogs, making things even less stressful.

However, appointments can take longer than usual because they go slowly. Also, weekend slots fill up fast, and matted coats may cost more.

Gentle First Grooming Experience

Aux Deux Griffes is convenient if you have both dogs and cats, since they care for all kinds of pets at one location. I also appreciate their pickup and drop-off service, which is helpful if you can’t get there yourself.

Another thing is their wide grooming menu, from basic baths to more detailed grooming like lion cuts for cats.

They also use gentle shampoo options when needed, especially for pets with skin issues. They accept vet-prescribed products too!

However, everything must be booked in advance, so walk-ins aren’t possible. Also, they’re closed early on some days and don’t operate on Sundays or Mondays.

Here, dogs aren’t kept in cages while they wait; they’re free to move around and socialize, which helps reduce stress.

I also appreciate that they offer custom Asian-style cuts and hand-stripping, which shows they have real grooming skills. They even send photo updates or let you watch your dog on a live feed.

One thing to note is that drop-off happens outside the home for safety reasons. And because it’s a private setup, scheduling can be a little strict.

Cozy First-Time Grooming Experience

However, they have a strict 48-hour cancellation policy that may incur fees. Also, they don’t provide anal gland expression services.
