Kick Foot Pain to the Curb with the Best Podiatrists in Montreal

Ever wondered what it’s like to walk a mile in Bigfoot’s shoes? Well, let’s just say some folks in Montreal have podiatrists to thank for making that experience a whole lot more pleasant.

Whether you’re dealing with bunions that rival the Abominable Snowman’s or simply want to keep your feet feeling fantastic after a long day exploring the city, finding the right foot doctor is key.

In this blog, we’re diving deep into the fascinating world of podiatry in Montreal. We’ll uncover the hidden gems, the foot whisperers, and the toe-tappingly talented professionals who’ll have you stepping in style, no matter your footprint size.

How much do podiatrists charge in Montreal?
Podiatrists in Montreal charge around $115 for an initial consultation and then $75 for follow-up visits. However the final price may change depending on the complexity of the case, the clinic’s reputation and whether or not specialised treatments are required.

How We Chose

Expertise – We looked for podiatrists with extensive training and qualifications to ensure they are certified and recognised by professional organisations.
Patient experience – We reviewed feedback from patients regarding their experience with podiatrists. We considered communication, bedside manner, and satisfaction with treatment outcomes.
Range of services – We selected podiatrists who offer a comprehensive range of services, from routine foot care and orthotics to more specialised treatments like diabetic foot management and surgery.
Accessibility and convenience – We considered factors like clinic locations, availability of appointments, and online booking options.

Respects appointment times

“I appreciate the respect of the appointment time, the quality of the examination and the intervention, the clear explanations, the kindness and the professionalism of Dr. Massicotte and his team.  The clinic is well equipped, modern and sunny and there is free parking available in front of the clinic.”

Removes discomfort with ease and expertise

“I appreciated the warm welcome and meticulous care from Dr. Massicotte. The latter very wisely pulled a thorn in my side, it seemed very simple to him for something that complicated my life too much.  It was not “one small step for man but one big step for humanity” but a small gesture of humanity so that I could take bigger steps!”

What really stood out to us was her expertise in sports therapy. She’s got a knack for treating sports injuries. She even offers ultrasound-guided exams and injections, which is a huge plus if you’re dealing with any sort of foot pain or need minor surgery.

Parents we spoke to love her for her kid-friendly approach, handling everything from posture issues to those pesky skin and nail problems.

“Dr. Chen is extremely passionate on what she does. She takes the time to answer every single inquires you may have and more. Her patient care and service is exceptional. Highly recommend if you are a patient like me with flat feet and several years of prolonged undiagnosed foot pain/issues.”

Listens attentively and provides expert consultation

“I brought my son for a flat foot consultation. The doctor was very attentive and knowledgeable. We were not advised to run and buy custom made inserts. Instead, we received practical advise as to how strengthen the foot muscles. Since I was really impressed with the doctor’s knowledge and approach, I asked her to advise me regarding the upcoming bunion surgery. The advise was extremely helpful and now I have a clear plan and understanding what I have to do. The doctor’s reviews really represent the quality of service you will get if you decide to book an appointment. Thank you Dr Chen!”

We’ve been checking out a lot of places lately, and Clinique de Chirurgie du Pied de Montréal really made an impression. We were blown away by Dr. Sarah Cantin-Langlois’ expertise – she’s passionate about helping people with their foot problems.

When we visited the clinic, the patients we talked to couldn’t say enough good things about Dr. Cantin-Langlois and her team. Many said they made the whole experience feel comfortable and reassuring, even when dealing with complex surgeries.

We also loved that Dr. Cantin-Langlois works closely with orthopedists. This isn’t something you see every day, and it shows how dedicated she is to providing the best possible care.

Restores hope after years of foot pain

“I saw Dr. Cantin-Langlois this morning. After two years of foot pain I finally have some hope. I should have seen her a long time ago! She is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and bilingual. She did not recommend x-rays or an MRI just to charge me extra; rather she explained that they would not be helpful. What a great doctor!”

Jacqueline Brown, Google Review

Delivers exceptional care throughout the entire surgical journey

“I had surgery (bunionectomy by tarsometatarsal fusion) a year ago now by Dr Langlois. This is one of the heaviest foot operations with a very long convalescence. I was really well taken care of (initial assessment, surgery and post-operative follow-up). With her team she was able to offer me good support and always available to answer questions. For me, Dr. Langlois is a leading authority in his field. I would trust him again without hesitation if I had to have surgery on my other foot. Today my operated foot has regained all its mobility and no more pain. I am very grateful for the professionalism I received. I highly recommend it!”

Rectifies previous treatment errors

“I have never written reviews before now. Dr. Moreau is an extremely competent podiatrist. She was able to solve my plantar fasciitis problem that had been dragging for many months through 1 single visit. She was able to take control of my situation and rectified the mistakes that were done in my treatment through other podiatrists and professionals prior to seeing her. She helped me solve my problem under difficult constraints and I will be referring all friends and family to Podiatrix.”

Offers a welcoming and professional environment

“Superb clinic, reasonable prices, warm welcome, friendly receptionist. What can we say about Doctor Stéphanie Moreau, she is smiling, clear and precise, super competent, masters her profession and listens to her patients. After wasting 7 months and going through 3 different clinics with incompetent podiatrists, I discovered this wonderful clinic that managed to cure my foot infection from the first appointment. I definitely recommend.”

Delivers effective diagnosis and treatment

“Great clinic. I have visited many doctors and physiotherapists with a foot issue to no avail. After one appointment, the doctor at Podiatric Clinic St. Michel figured out exactly what issue I had, and came up with a treatment plan. Since I finished the treatment I’ve been back to playing soccer 5 times a week without any residual issues! What a life saver.”

Staff was very friendly and caring. I will now be going every 6 months for my up keep. I highly recommend this clinic.”
