Accessibility remains a strong suit beyond non-emergency issues. For water softening systems, clients can schedule same-day appointments. However, the company relayed that this isn’t always guaranteed in all cases.

Another strength is their system quality. Their water softeners use US-made Clack control valves that ensure reliability. Customers also benefit from a 5-year full warranty on both parts and labour.

As for the rates, the company is pretty competitive, but what sets them apart is that they offer financial flexibility via Finance. Through this, clients can enjoy no payment and no interest for the first 3 months.

With multiple tries from our team, we’re all pleased to find that Bricareau is very responsive. Most of us received a call back within hours of submitting a contact form, with appointments being scheduled as soon as the next day.

As for the quality of service, we saw how clean and fast they are, which is something we can’t say for every company. They work tidily, with workers who answer questions and clarify steps all throughout the process.

However, their relatively small team can make scaling up difficult, depending on the property type. On the good side, the company isn’t always packed. They’re still plenty available, at least at the moment. 

Pricing is competitive, with rates falling within the median in the city. Plus, the after-sale support is very reliable. Whether via email or phone, they pick up promptly and are able to offer straightforward advice without upselling.

When it comes to efficiency, Montreal Plumbing takes the cake. Their installation times typically take 2 to 4 hours only. The technicians are also very respectful of the property, which is naturally a big plus to us.

This level of seamlessness is also something we can relate to their process. Everything was hassle-free and prompt from inquiry to post-installation support, making them a good choice for clients on a tight schedule.

Another thing worth noting too is that the clients we interviewed all highlighted the benefits of their services. A few emphasized reduced energy bills, while others took note that the water feels gentler on skin and clothing.

The only poor report we came across was an issue about technicians arriving without tools. But this seems to be for emergency services only – scheduled bookings remain spotless as of yet.

What’s great is that there are mid-tier to high-end options, so clients can choose based on their budget. 

Regardless of the system choices, they have a standard installation and activation cost. This already includes a warranty and their Water-Care program covering replacement parts.

That said, you may be turned off that they charge an additional fee to deliver in Montreal, even though it’s part of their service area. Still, we find it to be a great initial investment with long-term pay.
