Dr. Mark Poulin stands out for his top-notch medical skills and genuine dedication to patient education and personalised care. Several patients praised him for thoroughly explaining their conditions and treatment options, ensuring they left with a clear plan to manage their health.

We also really love Dr. Poulin’s use of modern techniques, like balloon sinuplasty. This minimally invasive procedure for chronic sinusitis can be done right in the office. It’s a huge plus for those looking to avoid the hassle of hospital visits.

We also appreciate the convenience of his online consultations. By calling his office, patients can easily get expert advice without having to make frequent trips in person.

However, one potential downside is that due to his popularity and extensive expertise, getting an appointment with Dr. Poulin can sometimes require a longer wait. This is particularly true for new patients.

  • Expert medical and surgical services
  • Convenient online consultations
  • Welcoming atmosphere
  • Emphasis on patient education
  • Modern techniques

Cons

  • Long wait times

Makes patients and their family feel comfortable

“I usually don’t leave reviews but I felt it necessary to praise dr Poulin for his work. For a year I’d been having ear related issues and I was prescribed multiple prescriptions by different doctors and nothing worked. I finally got to see him today after months of suffering and honestly it was worth the wait. He was a very good listener and he made both me and my mom feel comfortable. He’s very nice , funny and attentive. He checked everything from my nose to my ears and throat and neck. He even had me redo the hearing test just to be sure and he was able to get me my CAT scan results from September in one minute when lakeshore couldn’t even give me a call back and he printed everything out for me. He reassured me and my mom that my ears were fine and that the problem was my jaw. On top of prescribing me a nasal spray for my allergies , he suggested a muscle relaxer and gave me many other tips and recommendations. If you have any problems with your ears or jaw or anything related to that , I HIGHLY recommend Dr Poulin. He’s great at what he does and he’s very thorough. Plus , the staff is very welcoming as well! Thank you so much and see you soon! -Victoria.”

Goes the extra mile for his patients

“Through Dr.Poulin’s diagnosis and treatment steps, I’ve been able to get my quality of life back.  He goes the extra mile for his patients, because he genuinely cares about them – he respects his appointments and is thoughtful about the little things, which takes you by surprise.  His staff is exactly the same way, so the whole vibe is positive going in.”

Possesses a good sense of humour

“He’s the only ENT I trust with my ears!! Saw him a few times at the hospital for ear cleanings and then at his office, he’s fast and listens to any concerns that I have. He has a good sense of humor too ^^ I recommend him to everyone I know. As to those who say his secretary is a bit rude, she’s actually really nice! She works alone and she pretty much does everything by herself.  Answer phones, manages the files, greets patients etc. She’s a busy lady so just be patient and kind. Overall great experience!”

Out of the many specialists here, one standout is Dr. Marc Tewfik. His expertise spans nasal and sinus disease, endoscopic sinus, and skull base surgery.

“A great clinic for kids and adults. I found parking on the street and came 15 mins early an was seen within 4 minutes of arrival. Doctor Manaoukian is a gem. He is sweet, thorough, and patient with his patients. I felt comfortable with him preforming a surgery on my 3 year old. Highly recommended.”

Fosters a caring and patient-focused atmosphere

“I have seen Dr. Payne at ENT for several years, and have always been extremely impressed by him personally, but also by everyone I have interacted with there. The atmosphere has always been one of really caring for the client/patient, taking the time to listen and explain, a culture that I have seen in all of the staff. Dr Payne is a really upbeat good person who is extremely knowledgeable, yet very approachable. He is also only one of two doctors I have known, who has ever taken the time personally to phone me with results, a testament to the level of personal care I have received at ENT.”

Takes necessary precautions to avoid pain

“Unlike the person I saw before Dr. Saliba, he takes the time to talk to us and tell us what is happening and what he plans to do. Additionally, and more importantly, he has exceptional hands when it comes time to act. He takes all the precautions and time necessary to go there delicately, so as not to hurt. Again, this is not at all the experience I had before meeting him. I highly recommend Dr. Saliba. You can go see him without fear. I am convinced that he is among the best in his profession.”
