We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

The 5 Best Indoor Playgrounds in Montreal to Unleash the Fun

When the weather turns freezing or uncomfortably humid, it can be tough to find fun ways to keep energetic kids busy. That endless toddler energy needs to be let out, and being stuck at home can drive parents crazy.

Don’t worry, we’ve got your back. We rounded up the best indoor playgrounds in Montreal to offer you a clean, safe, and engaging spot.

Check out these places when you’re looking for winter or summer activities away from unpredictable weather.

How much does an indoor playground cost in Montreal?

The cost of visiting an indoor playground in Montreal typically ranges from $12 to $30 per child for day passes, depending on age and the type of facility.

Age Group / Ticket TypeEstimated Cost
Infants (0 – 11 months)Free (with paying child/family member)
Toddlers (12 – 23 months)$8.00 to $19.99
Children (Ages 2 – 12+)$12.00 to $29.99
Adults/Parents (Companion Fee)$5.00 to $9.00

How We Reviewed

Safety and Cleanliness: We checked how strictly each facility maintains hygiene and equipment safety. Places with eco-friendly cleaning routines and secure access points ranked much higher on our list.
Age-Appropriate Zones: We looked for centres that offer dedicated spaces for babies and young children. We want to keep toddlers away from older kids’ rough play for a stress-free and safer visit.
Parent Amenities: Companions need a comfortable spot to relax, work, or grab a coffee whilst supervising. We picked venues featuring integrated cafes, strong Wi-Fi, or direct sightlines to the play floor.
Party Customisation: A venue that can make birthday celebrations easy and affordable saves parents massive headaches. We prioritised playgrounds that let families bring outside food or provide event coordinators.

1. Kidzillafun

Website: https://www.kidzillafun.com/

Address: 7955 Newman Blvd, LaSalle

Contact: (514) 806-7955 | [email protected]

Hours: Tuesday-Wednesday, 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM | Thursday-Friday, 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM | Saturday-Sunday, 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Kidzillafun stands out for balancing high-energy play with structured learning. Here, you can enrol your child in a ballet or karate class, which automatically includes an extra hour of free playtime.

This approach gives parents the ultimate win, since they can tire out a happy child and build their creative skills.

The regulated admission capacity is a massive help, as it keeps the floor from being overwhelmingly chaotic.

Another fantastic touch is the on-site cafe, which serves premium coffee so you can comfortably catch up on emails whilst watching your kids play.

However, you do have to pay an extra $5.75 for every adult accompanying a child, which makes family trips slightly more expensive.

Pros

  • Offers ballet and karate classes
  • Free play included with classes
  • Regulated admission capacity
  • On-site cafe

Cons

  • Mandatory fee for every adult

Wonderful indoor playground experience for all ages

Went for play today and really enjoyed this wonderful indoor playground. An enjoyable experience for adults alike. Reasonably priced. The decor is exceptionally beautiful! The playing areas are very clean and well lit. Favourite was the ball pit with the wide slide. The cafe has excellent smoothies and coffee, especially enjoyed the mango pineapple peach smoothie and rose latte. The barista was very accommodating and sweet. The owner was very friendly and welcomed us nicely. Given our son is very particular about his drinks and because we eat halal, they were very accommodating and allowed us to bring something

Great space with plentiful activities

My 4year old really loved this place. We arrived 10am on a Saturday and were the first ones to enter.

The space isn’t too large, but there’s plenty to do. Two indoor playgrounds for climbing and sliding, a ball pit, a block lit, a little climbing wall, a few various low-lying climbing structures for toddlers, two dedicated toddler (0-3) areas, and an indoor “sand pit”- not real sand but some kind of synthetic plastic bean shaped item.

2. Gymagine

Website: https://www.gymagine.ca/

Address: 5800 Cavendish Blvd, Côte Saint-Luc

Contact: (514) 585-6496 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM | Sunday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Gymagine stands out for featuring gymnastics and obstacle setups that challenge a child’s balance and agility.

The entire space is scaled down for babies and toddlers. This prevents tiny hands from struggling with oversized, intimidating equipment.

They’re incredibly budget-friendly too, with open play admission starting as low as $5. Plus, families can avoid expensive seasonal programmes through gym session drop-ins.

But if you want your child to have access to unlimited play, they offer an affordable $40 per child membership. It has a minimum of three months, perfect for summer break.

They’re even easy to get to since they’re located inside the Cavendish Mall. Unfortunately, the venue is closed on Fridays, so you’ll have to find another spot to kick off your weekend.

Pros

  • Affordable rates
  • Skill-building movement obstacles
  • Setup is scaled down for babies and toddlers
  • Convenient indoor mall location

Cons

  • Closed on Fridays

Five star venue and party hosting

Excellent 5 star service and venue safely designed for lots of great fun for kids. We just hosted our 6yr old twins birthday party at Gymagine  and our twins and their friends had a blast! They spent hours of fun on the 4 level indoor playground. We had selected the all inclusive  package which included delicious food served with gloves, snacks and drinks decorated with themed sonic the hedgehog party plates  balloons and decorations which was a dream from a working parent perspective.

Clean gym ideal for active kids

I love that the city of cote saint luc has an indoor gym for the kids to play in. When ever i go it’s clean the workers are great and accommodating. Plus it’s a great activity for little kids thats only a few minutes drive away. If a child with adhd needs a place to get out all their energy this is the place.

  • Calming room designed to reduce sensory input

Cons

  • Unpredictable open play hours

Fun, clean, and stress free playground

Great indoor playground for kids in Montreal. This was our third visit and every time has been a great experience.

The space is clean, safe, and not overly stimulating. Perfect for kids to play, stay active, and burn off energy. My son loves it and always leaves happy.

As a parent, I really appreciate being able to relax while still keeping an eye on him without constant supervision.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun and stress-free kids activity spot.

Inclusive play space where kids thrive

We visited We Rock the Spectrum today and it was a huge hit! My son had so much fun with all the unique play structures and gym equipment. The environment is incredibly welcoming, safe, and thoughtfully designed. It is so wonderful to have a place like this where kids can truly thrive and have fun. An inclusive indoor play space where kids are truly understood and supported. Highly recommend to any family!

Website: http://kazoomcafe.com/

Address: 2169 Marcel Laurin Blvd, suite 160, Ville Saint-Laurent

Contact: (514) 331-4386

Hours: Monday-Thursday, Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Friday-Saturday, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Centre D’amusement Kazoom Café provides an interactive experience where parents can climb into the main play structures with their children. Rather than sitting on the sidelines, you can guide a hesitant child through an obstacle course.

For families with tiny babies, there’s a dedicated toddler zone filled with smaller slides to keep them safe from energetic older kids.

Parents can also relax in the on-site cafe, just next to the fun zone. This way, they can monitor their kids without going into the play structures.

It’s worth noting that the venue operates as a nut-aware facility. They monitor outside food to prevent accidental allergen exposure.

On top of that, they’re equipped with security cameras and controlled access points to keep the entire floor secure.

However, strollers aren’t permitted in the main seating areas, so you must carry infants around the facility if you bring them.

Pros

  • Adults allowed on play structures
  • Isolated toddler play zone
  • Nut-aware safety protocols
  • Secure controlled access points

Cons

  • Strollers banned in main seating space

Safe indoor playground with friendly staff

Good indoor playground. Clean, medium size, with snack bar, area for birthday parties, and an area for toddlers (0-3). Staff was friendly and helpful.

Good attention to detail to make things safe for little kids: you need to be buzzed out by staff to leave the play area, and door jambs on washroom doors were covered, so that little fingers don’t get caught.

Quiet weekday visit for toddlers

We went on a weekday with 3 toddlers. We practically had the entire place to ourselves.

Price was $45 for 4 adults and 3 kids. We thought that was fair. The place seemed relatively clean. Signage on the building is really bad. It took us a while to see the sign. Food choices were extremely basic but prices weren’t unreasonable. Not the best or the worst indoor playground I’ve ever been too.

5. Zigzagzoo

Website: https://zigzagzoo.ca/

Address: 980 Av. Saint-Charles, Local 120, Vaudreuil-Dorion

Contact: (450) 424-3244 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Saturday-Sunday, 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Zigzagzoo is built to impress older and younger kids alike. This expansive centre boasts a four-level play structure for endless climbing and bouncing.

Grown-ups are even welcome inside the massive jungle gym, allowing you to accompany your child in exploring the tunnels and slides.

The space has a convenient lunchbox area where families can bring their own meals, saving you money on expensive concession stands.

We appreciate that they enforce a peanut-free environment, making them a reliable and safe choice for kids with food allergies.

The downside is their tendency to close earlier than posted if attendance drops, which can easily ruin an unplanned afternoon visit.

Pros

  • Massive four-level jungle gym
  • Companions allowed in the jungle gym
  • Outside food permitted
  • Peanut-free zone

Cons

  • Unscheduled early facility closures

Absolute gem for family fun

Zigzag Zoo in Vaudreuil is an absolute gem 😊! We took our kids there last weekend, and it was a HIT. The indoor space is huge, with tons of activities to keep kids entertained for hours. My 7-year-old loved the laser tag and mini-putt, and my 4-year-old had a blast in the play area. Staff were super friendly and helpful too. We’d definitely go back! 🚀

Awesome staff and great jungle gym

Staff was awesome, place was clean and most importantly kids had a blast. Will definitely be going back. They have a large indoor jungle gym, small rock climbing and solo trampolines. There is also a snack bar and pizza.
