They say the world is your oyster, but sometimes, that oyster can feel a bit overwhelming. With countless destinations beckoning and a sea of travel options to navigate, planning the perfect getaway can quickly turn from exciting to exhausting.

That’s where our list of top travel companies in Montreal comes in, ready to transform your travel dreams into reality.

Whether you’re a seasoned globetrotter seeking off-the-beaten-path adventures or a first-time traveller yearning for a hassle-free escape, there’s a company on this list that perfectly suits your needs.

How much do travel companies charge in Montreal?
On average, travel companies in Montreal typically charge $1,500 for travel packages. However, the final price may change depending on the destination, season, included activities, and the desired level of luxury.

How We Chose

Company reputation & expertise – We prioritised companies with a proven track record of providing excellent service and specialising in various types of travel like family vacations, adventure tours, or luxury getaways.
Range of services – We considered companies that offer a diverse selection of travel services, including flights, accommodations, and tours. This is to ensure they can cater to different budgets and preferences.
Value for money – We evaluated companies based on their pricing and the overall value they provide to ensure a balance between cost and quality.
Customer satisfaction – We analysed customer reviews and testimonials to gauge overall satisfaction levels. We focused on factors like responsiveness, knowledge, and personalised service.

We love how Voyages Concorde has been crafting unforgettable travel experiences since 1995. We were impressed by the variety of their offerings, from scenic bus tours across North America to custom packages for inbound travellers.

Their multilingual service, with over 30 guides fluent in English, French, and Chinese, really stood out. Language barriers? Not an issue here.

We were happy with the value of their tour options. For example, the Full-Day Montreal and AML Sightseeing Cruise from Ottawa, at $69.99, is a fantastic choice for a day trip.

We also have to give them credit for their Concord Club loyalty program – earning points for discounts and upgrades is always a sweet deal in our books.

Their modern online booking system is a breeze to use, and we were happy to see a chat feature for those moments when you need a quick answer.

Pros

  • User-friendly online booking system
  • Affordable and value-driven tours
  • Concord Club loyalty program
  • 29 years of experience
  • Multilingual service

Cons

  • A few reports of time management issues

Delivers a well-organised and thoughtfully planned itinerary

“I recently joined a trip to a blueberry farm and a lavender farm with my boyfriend, and we were super satisfied with the experience! The entire day was well-organised, and the itinerary was thoughtfully planned to ensure we had ample time to enjoy both locations. The blueberry farm was a delightful experience where we could pick our own blueberries. The lavender farm was equally amazing. The sight and scent of the blooming lavender fields were incredibly relaxing. We got to take home some lovely lavender products. Our guide Rebecca was professional, engaging, and made sure everyone had a great time”

Ensures comfort throughout the trip with a cosy bus ride

“Excellent day trip to Quebec City!  Thomas was a very patient and informative tour host. The trip was very well paced. Picked up from our hotel and then the bus ride from Montreal to QC was 3 hours with a rest stop half way in at a McDonalds. Loved the ice hotel – was given 1.5 hours to tour on our own which was just enough. Spectacular and amazing.   Next stop was the Waterfall where we had 1 hour – just enough time to take the walk to the far gazebo for a great view. Wear snow boots!  Lastly it was a 45 minute guided tour of Quebec City and then 2 hours to explore this quaint and utterly beautiful city. The bus was very comfortable. Absolutely recommend this tour!”

We really like how Voyages Forum Travel in Montreal makes planning a spiritual journey stress-free.

Their Umrah packages, starting at a pricier rate of $2,500, include everything you need – flights, visa processing, and accommodations in Mecca and Medina. They even provide guided tours to the holy sites, which makes the entire experience smooth and hassle-free.

What impressed us most was how they cater to last-minute travellers. Some of the folks we talked to snagged amazing deals on spontaneous trips to places like India or Morocco. This helped them save a good chunk of change compared to booking alone.

Plus, their 24/7 customer support is a huge plus, especially when you need help across different time zones.

Pros

  • Comprehensive pilgrimage packages
  • Great for last-minute travellers
  • Online booking

Cons

  • High costs

Ensures a seamless booking process from start to finish

“I had the pleasure of booking my recent flight here, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! They offered an amazing flight deal, and I can’t thank Brother Fuzail enough for his exceptional assistance. His professionalism and dedication ensured a seamless booking process. I’m now a loyal customer and can’t wait to book with them again. Highly recommended!”

Leads the group with exceptional care and attention

“My daughter had a great experience with Voyage Forum Travel on a trip to Mecca and Medina with Fuzail Bhai. He planned the whole trip perfectly by booking one of the best hotels in Mecca and Medina as well as 5-star buses which took the entire group to many amazing ziyarats(like masjid e Quba, the first mosque in Islam). He took care of everyone throughout the entire trip making sure no one was left out and everything was taken care of. Without any doubt he’s the best group leader and an amazing travel agent to Forum travel! Highly recommended.”

  • Tuesday & Thursday to Friday – 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Website

We love how Wonder Travel manages to deliver budget-friendly bus tours across Canada without skimping on the details.

What really makes them shine is their ability to blend affordability with comprehensive travel experiences, which makes them a solid choice whether you’re a local or just visiting.

Their Toronto & Niagara Falls 3-Day Premium Package is a standout, priced at $329.99. It’s packed with essentials like visits to the 1000 Islands, Ripley’s Aquarium, a Niagara Falls Cruise, and the Skylon Tower.

This package includes everything you need for a hassle-free trip – transport, hotel accommodations, and guided tours. Their bilingual guides are also knowledgeable and friendly, ensuring everyone, whether English or French-speaking, has a great time.

However, we’re a bit iffy about their website. It feels outdated and could use a refresh to match the quality of their tours.

Pros

  • Comprehensive travel packages
  • Affordable yet detailed tours
  • Bilingual & friendly guides

Cons

  • Outdated website

Encourages plans for a return visit next time in Toronto

“I took this tour from Montreal to Niagara Falls on July 2024. Everything about the tour was great. The tour leader was a guy named Jacky. He was really friendly and at the same time disciplined. In some stops, such as the Niagara on the lake city. The Ripely aquarium was also awesome! I really plan to visit again next time I’ll be in Toronto. Overall, I highly recommend the tour to those who are looking for a trip for their weekend.”

Makes the trip fun and engaging with Jack as the guide

“I had the opportunity to embark on a one day trip to Montmorency Falls and the old port of Québec City. It was an amazing experience starting off with the falls where we took the cable car up the hilltop to witness the view. Lastly, we visited the middle of old port which was honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. Although it was raining, the views and the buildings were still spectacular as always! I want to thank Jack for being our tour guide on this one day trip, he talked about the history and the facts of these two locations in both English and French and made the trip more fun and interesting. I recommend this travel agency 100% and I hope you get Jack as your tour guide!!”

Operating hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Website

Established in 2006, Teo Travel Services caught our attention by catering specifically to the Romanian community in Quebec while still offering a wide range of services for everyone.

We like that they handle everything from flight bookings and holiday packages to cruises, car rentals, and travel insurance. Whether you dream of a Caribbean escape or a tailored group tour in Europe, their IATA and OPC Quebec accreditations gave us confidence in their services.

A few customers we talked to mentioned how much they appreciate Teo Travel’s attention to detail in creating every itinerary.

One area for improvement, however, is their lack of transparent pricing. Package prices are not listed on their website, which could be inconvenient for potential clients. You will need to request pricing information by calling or filling out a form on their website.

Pros

  • Comprehensive travel solutions
  • Specialised community focus
  • Online quote

Cons

  • Lack of upfront pricing

Keeps the family well-informed throughout the process

“Great service and great staff! My nephew who is a US citizen tried to join the Romanian children group and the flight wasn’t possible due to Covid. The staff kept the mom well informed and did everything to get the money back. They are very well informed and doing everything for their customers.”

Groupe Voyages VP has been a go-to for high-end travel in Montreal for over forty years. They blend decades of experience seamlessly with a deep understanding of leisure and business travel needs.

What we like most are their “Extraordinary Travel” packages. These offer everything from African safaris to villa rentals in the Caribbean. These aren’t just vacations – they’re experiences designed to be unforgettable.

But if you’re planning a business trip, their “Business Travel” division really stands out. They take the hassle out of travel planning by ensuring your corporate trips are as smooth as possible.

We also appreciate how easy it is to get in touch through their website, especially since you’ll need to inquire directly about package pricing. Plus, their travel gift cards are a nice touch for special occasions.

  • Easy communication
  • Tailor-made luxury trips
  • Travel gift cards

Cons

  • No upfront pricing

Ensures seamless travel arrangements

“Groupe Voyage VP, specially Charles Richer, is hands down the best travel agency I have had the pleasure of working with. The attention to detail does not go unnoticed.  This will be the third year that I have worked with Charles for our annual sales conference & Platinum Club trip and each year has gone seamlessly.  Charles is extremely proactive when it comes to travel arrangements and makes certain that you are not stressed at all & fully taken care of!  Simply put, Charles & Groupe Voyage VP are exceptional & world-class.  I would highly recommend them & their services to anyone!”

Keeps clients updated on restriction changes during uncertain times

“This is my second time using Nathalie’s services to help plan a trip and this time again she went above and beyond to provide me all the required bookings and information, and keep me updated regularly on every restriction change in these uncertain times. She also helped me extend my stay by finding a new return flight that fit my needs while still remaining affordable, within a very short time frame. My trip was amazing and I didn’t have to worry about the Covid setting because I knew I was in good hands. Merci beaucoup Nathali!”
