Find Instant Relief with the 5 Best Acupuncture Clinics in Montreal
When I first heard about acupuncture, I imagined myself in that Final Destination 5 scene, and that image alone was enough to keep me up at night! But after a particularly stressful week, my body was just calling for a treatment that doesn’t involve a Netflix binge.
With the encouragement of my experienced friends, I decided to give acupuncture a shot. And thank God I did because not only did I have a great time, but I also found a new way to relax after hustling at work.
After visiting several clinics, I’m excited to share my favorite acupuncture spots in Montreal. These are the places I personally recommend after experiencing relief from my never-ending muscle pain!
How much does acupuncture treatment cost in Montreal? Acupuncture treatments in Montreal cost anywhere from $80 to $120 (plus taxes), depending on the therapist. Add-ons and consultations are also variables that increase the costs |
How We Chose
1. Nuvomed

Location: 5570 Henri Bourassa Blvd W #230, Montreal, Quebec H4R 0M6, Canada
Contact: +1 514-531-8300
Opening Hours: Monday, Friday, Sunday: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
What’s interesting about Nuvomed is its approach to pain. It offers three different acupuncture services, with options to target the entire body or just specific pain regions.
I tried out their pain therapy acupuncture, which specifically targets acute pain in the body. What’s great about this is that you don’t need to have your whole body pierced with needles – perfect if you’re trying out acupuncture for the first time.
They also have full-body acupuncture, which helps increase blood flow. This treatment is the most in-demand among their offerings. They encourage their clients to get this service at least once a month to increase overall performance and blood circulation.
And with their fair rates, going long-term here with them is definitely possible.
However, I did have some trouble booking an appointment with them because of their tight schedule. If you’re ever stuck in a hectic moment, you may want to wait during weekdays or go to a different place altogether.
Pros
- Focuses on acute pain relief
- Relaxing atmosphere
- Knowledgeable and approachable staff
- Fair rates
Cons
- Booking may be difficult
Miracle worker
“Going to Tina was one of the best decisions in my life!! For more than a year I had mastalgia (severe breast tenderness) and I couldn’t enjoy basic things like working out or even hugging my kids… My doctor had recommended that I take the birth control pill to regulate my hormones, but I was looking for something natural with no side effects. Tina did her magic and within a few weeks I got my life back! She’s a true miracle worker! And… there was a bonus 🙂 I no longer have headaches or migraines! Killed two birds with one stone! Tina is THE BEST!!!”

2. Acupuncture Chinoise Zhi Fang Zhai

Location: 1440 Saint-Catherine St W #301, Montreal, Quebec H3G 1R8, Canada
Contact: +1 438-877-7618
Opening Hours: Monday- Tuesday, Thursday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
For affordable acupuncture services, Zhi Fang Zhai (Lily) is hard to beat. All their acupuncture options, whether you’re a new client or recurring, are priced at $95 (relatively cheaper than most places around the area).
But what truly caught our attention is their acupuncture and Tuina combos, which allow you to get a massage on top of your acupuncture for an affordable price. For a 15-minute massage plus the acupuncture, you’ll only pay $120.
I was comfortable throughout the acupuncture treatment, and the massage was truly relaxing. I recommend it if you can dedicate an entire day to pampering yourself or easing your muscles.
However, we did encounter some problems with staff’s attitude as some of them felt unwelcoming.
Pros
- Cheaper prices
- Offers massage and acupuncture combos
- Easy to book
- Options for longer massages
Cons
- Issues with staff’s professionalism
Best acupuncturist I’ve seen
“Lily is by far the Best acupuncturist I’ve seen! She treated me for headaches, low energy and different other conditions for few years now and every time I visited her, there’s an immediate and significant improvement. Also, she treated my husband for challenging health conditions that traditional eastern medicine wouldn’t heal and he fully recovered. Thank You Lily!”

3. Clinique d’Acupuncture LEE

Location: 5610 Rue Beaubien E, Montréal, QC H1T 1X5, Canada
Contact: +1 514-903-5512
Opening Hours: Monday- Tuesday, Thursday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Saturday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
For a long-term option that won’t break the bank, Clinique d’Acupuncture LEE is the way to go. Although the price for the first session is $110, the following session with them only costs $80, which already includes consultation, treatment, and materials.
Unlike other clinics, where consultation is charged separately, Clinique offers consultation on top of the session. Payments are made per session, so you won’t feel stressed out about paying a large sum in cash.
Just note that if you need to cancel an appointment, you have to let them know 48 hours before to avoid fees.
What I really liked, however, was their Beauty care acupuncture. It focuses on the face, encouraging blood flow in the area. Although it was much more expensive, at $200, it was definitely worth every dime I spent.
I’m just a bit disappointed with the receptionist’s attitude. There was an issue with my booking, and the receptionist didn’t seem to want to fix it. Fortunately, there were other staff members who all smiled and made up for that bad first encounter.
Pros
- Cheaper prices in the long run
- Free consultation upon purchasing the session
- Offers beauty care acupuncture
- Per session payment basis
Cons
- Unprofessional receptionist
- Strict cancellation policy
Most humble and caring person
“The best!!! I truly recommend this place for any health issues you need to take care of. Dr. Lee, is by far the most humble and caring person that I’ve met in this field. He and his wife are truly genuine and their quality of service is to be spoken off. DR. Lee takes the time to listen to you about your issues or pains and prioritizes treatments with you. It’s my 4 visit with him, and all I can say is wow! I truly see a difference and I’m so proud of choosing Dr. Lee. Don’t hesitate, call them today and get your appointment.”

Opening Hours: Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
If you’re looking into acupuncture for fertility, you may want to look into Clinique Sino Sante. They specialize in this service, although they do acupuncture as well for muscle relief and relaxation.
Along your process with them, the doctors wil be by your side monitoring your fertility process up until you are able to give birth.
In terms of success rate, we managed to speak to one client and they shared to us that they got pregnant after just one cycle from their acupuncture. But of course, that’s still dependent on other factors.
We were also impresside with their pricing. New clients can get their first session for $100, which also includes the initial consultation and the acupuncture session. This package is reasonably priced in our books.
For routine visits with them, prices will drop to $90, making them cost-effective (though not the most affordable) long-term. You can also add some massages and a Gua Sha treatment in one of your visits, priced at $30 an $50 respectively.
Pros
- Specific fertility specific acupuncture
- Accommodating practitioners
- Transparent prices
- Lower rates for routine visits
Cons
- May be difficult to book
Professional and courteous staff
“I would highly recommend Sino clinic. Frank is very professional and courteous, he treated my daughter for health issues that has been on going for the past 2 years. We have been going to see him once weekly then gradually once every 2 week. Now, my daughters chronic pain has resolved. My daughter is also very thrilled to have this experience as she herself was discouraged living with unresolved diagnosis. Thank you Frank!”

Supportive and considerate Doctor
“I am truly grateful for Dr. Zhao! My son is 8 months old today, and this review is long overdue. I first visited Dr. Zhao after my initial IVF transfer failed. Following a thorough consultation, I began treatments with him. He supported me through the preparation for my second transfer, the day of the transfer, and a few months into my pregnancy. For anyone reading this and considering seeing Dr. Zhao, I highly recommend giving him a call and chatting with him!”

5. Clinic of Sinosoins

Location: 65 Bd René-Lévesque E Suite 106, Montréal, QC H2X 1N2, Canada
Contact: +1 514-765-3972
Opening Hours: Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Friday: 1:00 PM – 6:30 PM| Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM
If you want to splurge for a better quality acupuncture session that’ll allow you to try other services as add-ons, then consider the Clinic of Sinosoins. For new patients, an acupuncture session with a consultation costs $115, while a consultation alone is $60.
Their consultations are thorough and get to the root of the problem. They also asked me to explain in detail to be able to find the best way to deal with my pain issues. Needless to say, they had the most comprehensive consultation I encountered.
The great part is that if you’re a returning client, the session only costs $95, while the consultation only costs $10.
Now, if you’re interested in cosmetic benefits, their facial rejuvenation sessions are worth considering at $120 per session. It’s slightly more expensive, but I did see a noticeable glow afterward.
Overall, it may be a bit expensive for first-time clients, but the overall experience we had with them outweighs the negative.
Pros
- Does thorough consultations
- Add-ons available
- Facial rejuvenation sessions are available
- Lower rates for returning clients
Cons
- May be expensive for new clients
Kind, gentle, and knowledgeable doctor
“Highly recommend! I was traveling to Montreal from the US and was having digestive issues. Dr Hong was able to fit me in for two acupuncture treatments during my trip and it was so helpful! She was very kind, gentle, caring, and knowledgeable. I’m very picky about my practitioners and even more-so now because I’m pregnant and I would recommend her to anyone. Clinic is very clean and a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you Dr Hong!”
