Seoul Coiffure Unisex Salon recently caught our attention, and we’re so glad it did. This unassuming salon offers a comprehensive array of services, from basic haircuts and colouring to perms and keratin treatments.  

During our visit, we were immediately struck by the welcoming atmosphere. The salon is run by an experienced couple who are clearly passionate about their craft and dedicated to providing top-notch service. 

We even chatted with several clients who raved about the salon’s focus on natural-looking results and meticulous attention to detail. It’s clear they’ve built a loyal following for a reason.

One of the things that really impressed us was the affordability. A wash and trim for just $35? That’s unbeatable.

We also love the salon’s flexibility. They welcome walk-ins, so you can pop in whenever it’s convenient. 

While we were thoroughly impressed with our experience, we do wish they had a website where potential clients could easily find information about their services and pricing.

La Mode Anne 라모드 앤 미용실 is a hidden gem that we think deserves a lot more recognition. This salon offers incredible value, with men’s haircuts priced at a mere $10 and women’s at just $15.  

But don’t let the affordability fool you since the quality of service here is top-notch. 

When we went here, we were impressed by the cosy atmosphere. The hairstylist exuded professionalism and a genuine passion for their craft, taking the time to understand each client’s individual needs and preferences.

We observed firsthand their expertise in creating personalised perms and haircuts that flattered a variety of hair types and textures. 

What also stood out to us was their usage of high-quality, all-natural Korean hair products. This not only ensures a comfortable experience but also leaves clients’ scalps feeling refreshed and revitalised.  

Our only small suggestion? A website! It would make it easier for potential clients to learn about their services and book appointments.

Ideal Nature Salon has been a mainstay in the Montreal Korean hair scene since 2009, and for good reason. This salon lives up to its name, specialising in creating “ideal, natural hair images” for its clientele.  

We love that they offer a truly comprehensive range of services, from classic cuts and colours to perms and extensions. They even offer specialised treatments for curly and children’s hair!

During our research, we came across glowing reviews for stylists like Songyi and Christina. Many praised their ability to understand their clients’ needs, offer patient guidance, and suggest styles that truly flatter.  

Booking an appointment is a breeze too, thanks to their online presence on platforms like Fresha. Plus, they have two branches (1439 Saint-Mathieu and 1484 Rue Sherbrooke Ouest), so getting your hair done is super convenient.  

While a trim from a junior stylist starts at $50, which is a bit higher than some other salons on our list, the expertise and online booking options make it a worthwhile investment. 

Plus, they’re the only Korean salon we’ve reviewed that has a website. This makes browsing their services and learning more about their stylists a cinch.

Sukei Salon Coiffure blew us away with their dedication to all things beauty. Sure, they do the usual cuts and colours, but they also offer makeup applications, facials, and even bridal makeup – talk about a one-stop shop.  

We were really impressed with their skills in Korean hairstyling trends.  They absolutely nailed the “hush cut” and “money piece” highlights we showed them – it felt like stepping out of a K-drama. 

And honestly, the best part?  They actually listened to what we wanted and perfectly recreated the hairstyles from the pictures we brought in.  

Booking was super easy with Fresha, but we did miss having a website to browse through their services beforehand.  

Also, a heads up: some clients have mentioned that the prices are a bit on the high side.

Going inside Jasu Beauty Salon felt like discovering a hidden gem. This no-frills salon might not have all the bells and whistles of fancier places, but it more than makes up for it with its friendly atmosphere and skilled stylists. 

We were immediately struck by how clean and organised the space was – it definitely put us at ease. 

We also had the pleasure of having Susan work her magic on our hair, and she’s a true find! Not only is she a whiz with scissors, but she’s also incredibly warm and approachable.  

She took the time to really understand what we were looking for and offered helpful suggestions without being pushy. 

Jasu offers all the basics, from cuts and styling to perms and hair removal, all at incredibly affordable prices (we’re talking $11 to $25). Honestly, the value for money here is unbeatable.  

While a website would be a welcome addition for those who like to browse services beforehand, the quality of service and friendly vibes at Jasu Beauty Salon definitely make it worth a visit.
