The 13 best working cafes in Montreal with fast WiFi and plenty of outlets!

Whenever I work from home, I always feel like something is missing. I find myself looking forward to the light noise of chatter in the background and the smell of coffee just wafting through the air as I type, type, type away.

Once I got the hang of dragging my laptop to working cafes, I just couldn’t look back anymore. There’s just something so great about ticking off your to-do list and then lining up for a drink  – and maybe a pastry – after.

If you love this lifestyle like I do, then you’ll like my recommendations. Check out these working cafes in Montreal to make your WFH feel better than ever.

Tommy Café is a spacious locale designed with high ceilings, loads of natural light, and cozy couches that encourage work. Don’t be surprised if you end up sharing a coffee table with a friendly stranger or two – the place can be quite crowded!

The menu here is just as impressive as the atmosphere. The breakfast croissant is a must-try, with its perfectly melted cheese layer.

If you’re feeling more adventurous, the spicy tuna sandwich with a side of green salad is the perfect lunch.

Now, for those who love a cup of coffee while working, there are classic cappuccinos and creative options like the Lucky Charms latte. At around $12 for two drinks, it’s not the cheapest.

That said, the views make up for it. Just grab a window seat if you can; the people-watching here is as good as the coffee!
